Discover the AgeJET difference with My Skin Medics
AgeJET is our cutting-edge plasma skin therapy, designed to address fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, scarring, and even the delicate areas around the eyes. As we age, our skin may require more than just topical creams and serums to maintain a youthful and healthy appearance.
While plasma therapy has been a popular method for skin regeneration for years, many devices can cause discomfort and require significant downtime for recovery. At My Skin Medics, we offer AgeJET, one of the most revolutionary, safe, and comfortable plasma treatments available, ensuring minimal discomfort and downtime so you can quickly resume your daily routine with revitalised skin.
WHAT IS AGEJET PLASMA?
AgeJET is a cutting-edge plasma device that utilises nitrogen gas to stimulate deep skin regeneration without damaging the surface. This unique approach creates a controlled thermal injury beneath the skin, prompting the formation of new, revitalised skin over the course of 10 days. You’ll notice surface improvements soon after treatment, and the results continue to improve as new skin emerges. Unlike many other skin rejuvenation treatments, AgeJET can safely and effectively target even the most delicate areas, such as the upper and lower eyelids, without causing the prolonged downtime or discomfort often associated with laser or injectable treatments.

Preparing for your AgeJet treatment is an exciting step towards rejuvenating your skin. To ensure the results, it's important to follow a few simple guidelines.
- 3 weeks before your treatment:
- During the week of your treatment:
- On treatment day:
- Treatment Aftercare:
Minimise exposure to the sun and refrain from tanning activities.
Apply sunblock with an SPF30 or higher that contains zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, ensuring full coverage on all areas to be treated.
Adopt extra sun protection like wearing a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and clothing designed to shield your skin, both prior to and after your treatment.
Refrain from using exfoliants (including scrubs, washes, and other treatments that remove the skin’s outer layer) during the week leading up to your treatment.
If you have been using topical treatments containing tretinoin, such as Retinol A cosmetics, within the last month, you will be advised to stop their use.
Keep your skin moisturised by applying a high-quality, non-irritating, and fragrance-free moisturiser twice daily or using a water-based mask daily. If needed, our specialists can recommend suitable skincare products available in clinic.
Ensure you are drinking at least 2 litres of water daily and avoiding food and drink that may lead to dehydration.
Please do not apply any makeup and mascara on the day of your treatment.
Ensure your face is cleaned and without any additional products added to your face, this includes moisturisers.
Refrain from using perfume or cologne on the area receiving treatment.
Your skin may feel warm, similar to the sensation of mild sunburn, for a few hours after treatment.
For the initial 24 hours post-treatment, it’s recommended to keep your skin dry and avoid applying any creams or lotions.
Expect skin flaking around 48 hours following the treatment, continuing for 2 to 5 days. It’s important not to pick at the skin during this time and to handle it gently. Once flaking subsides, ensure to use SPF 30+ sunscreen to minimise the risk of hyperpigmentation.
Generally, you can resume wearing makeup and shaving 2-3 days after your treatment, depending on the intensity of the treatment (low or high level).
If your treatment includes the lips, avoid applying lip products for the first 24 hours, except for hydrating lip products.
